I think I know why I feel so much like changing my Alter Ego. Aik and Coro don't match up with me anymore. First they were supposed to represent me and my feelings in the internet but now they drifted about. They're in their own little world now. Becoming sort of.. Zelda fan characters.. or how ever you want to call that XD The whole stuff with Link became bigger proportions than I first intended to. I don't complain -- I still like the whole plot.
But I'm missing "me". So, even IF I'm gonna chance my personal Alter Ego, neither Coro or Aik are gone Sooo don't worry *grin*
I know what you mean. I've had a few of my 'fursonas' just gain so much of they're own story and personality they didn't fit anymore.
I've learned its usually best for people like me (with all my ever expanding stories, and ideas) to have an 'alter-ego' character just be me, and not bother extrapolating on a story, or personality for them because in reality... my story, my personality, is the one they should embody.
If that makes any sense at all xD

People change over time. I decided to stop representing myself with Wolfdog, but I haven't stopped drawing her. Then again, Pannya is more a character of mine than an alter ego. Well, I guess she is like me with fewer inhibitions

It's all right, my alter ego (by the same name as me) isn't really a representation of me anymore either. I guess after a while alter ego's take on a new life!
i can understand cause out of all my characters im not sure which one is more "me" so i really dont have a main alter ego of them but i do have my alter ego in my head but i cant draw humans
